How to Bridge DGRAM Token

By default, rewards earned by users on Datagram is $DGRAM on Datagram Chain. In order for this $DGRAM token to be compatible for use on eligible exchanges (e.g. Binance Alpha, Bitget, Gate, MEXC, Pancakeswap, etc), it will need to be bridged to $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC). To access this bridge tool, sign in to the Datagram Dashboard and navigate to Dashboard > Wallet > Bridge.

Step 1: Connect a Wallet

To access the Datagram Bridge tool, start by connecting a wallet that supports the BNB Smart Chain (BSC). All bridged $DGRAM tokens will be transferred to this connected wallet address by default.

Step 2: Select Chain to Bridge $DGRAM Tokens From/To

After successfully connecting a wallet that supports the BNB Smart Chain (BSC), choose a network to bridge $DGRAM from/to. The current bridge tool only supports two networks, Datagram and BNB Smart Chain (BSC). By default, the bridge is configured to transfer $DGRAM on Datagram Chain to $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC).

  • DGRAM on Datagram: This is $DGRAM on Datagram Chain. It is the default token and chain that $DGRAM tokens are earned and issued to eligible participants on the Datagram Network.

  • DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain: This is $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain. It is currently the only chain of $DGRAM tokens that are supported by exchanges such as Binance Alpha, Bitget, and Pancakeswap. For a list of all exchanges that supports $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC), please see Coinmarketcap.

What are the different bridge options?

  1. DGRAM on Datagram to DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain: Choose this option if you want to transfer $DGRAM from a Datagram Account to an exchange to be deposited or sold.

  2. DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain to DGRAM on Datagram: Choose this option if you want to transfer $DGRAM from an exchange or BNB Smart Chain (BSC) support wallet to be deposited to a Datagram Account.

Step 3: Choose Amount of $DGRAM Tokens to Bridge

Input the amount of $DGRAM tokens to be bridged. This amount can be up to the current available balance, but cannot exceed it. After inputting the amount to be bridged, please not that there are (2) fees that will need to be accounted for in order for the transaction to be submitted and processed.

  1. Estimated bridge fee: This fee is to support and maintain the bridge tool.

    1. When bridging $DGRAM on Datagram Chain to $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC), the fee is a fixed 0.01% of the amount of $DGRAM to be bridged and is collected in $DGRAM on Datagram Chain.

    2. When bridging $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to $DGRAM on Datagram Chain, the fee is a fixed 0.001 $BNB will be collected in $BNB on BNB Smart Chain (BSC).

  2. Transaction fee: This is a dynamic fee required to submit and process transactions on the selected blockchain network and is determined by the current demand of the selected network. When the network is slow, this fee will be lower. When the network is busy, this fee will be higher.

    1. When bridging $DGRAM on Datagram Chain to $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC), the fee is collected in $DGRAM on Datagram Chain.

    2. When bridging $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to $DGRAM on Datagram Chain, the fee is collected in $BNB on BNB Smart Chain (BSC).

Step 4: Confirm & Submit Bridge Transaction

After selecting the network to transfer $DGRAM tokens from/to and inputting the amount of $DGRAM to be bridged, click "Bridge" to submit the transaction to be processed. This will activate a request from the connected wallet to confirm transaction details and transaction fee. Please ensure that there is enough $DGRAM or $BNB to cover the transaction fee and click "Confirm" to submit the transaction. It may take a few minutes to complete the transaction depending on how busy the network is. Once the transaction is completed, you can verify receipt of $DGRAM on the selected network.

  • When bridging $DGRAM on Datagram Chain to $DGRAM on BNB Smart Chain (BSC), make sure to set the wallet network to BNB Smart Chain (BSC) to view the $DGRAM token balance.
