Jason is highly focused on real-world impact and began this relentless pursuit with
AidDollar, a blockchain-based solution to improve foreign aid distribution, which won the
2014 Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Prize. Inspired by his experiences in
Post-earthquake Haiti, AidDollar aimed to bypass bureaucratic inefficiencies and ensure
Aid reached those in need.
He then led Gala Games as President of Blockchain, exploring gaming as a vehicle for
wealth transfer through play-to-earn and play-to-own models. His work demonstrated
how blockchain gaming could empower players, especially in developing countries, by
enabling real economic value from in-game activities. At Gala Games, he also led one of
the largest decentralized physical infrastructure (DePIN) projects, overseeing the
development of a decentralized storage network that now powers 85% of all DHT servers.
